K-9: P.I. (2002) IMDB rating: 5.20 Plot: San Diego police detective Mike Dooley has retired from the force, but on the way home from his retirement party, he and his police dog, Jerry Lee, come across a robbery at an electronics lab, in which four valuable prototype computer chips are stolen. When Dooley and Jerry Lee try to stop the robbery, they are slowed down by the FBI, who draw their guns on Dooley. In chasing the thieves, Jerry Lee has swallowed one of the chips, and the other three won’t work without it. In the eyes of the FBI, Dooley becomes a suspect just because he was on the scene at the time of the heist, and his pension is frozen until the case is solved. Since Dooley’s pension is frozen, he decides to breed Jerry Lee for some quick cash to start a private investigation business. Unfortunately, Jerry Lee’s a big slob who farts a lot, and so he has trouble with the higher-brow dog fanciers. But after a successful night of breeding, Dooley gets paid, and winds up with a crush on Catherine Coleman, the female dog’s owner. Jerry Lee gets “morning after” regrets. After a trip to the vet, Jerry Lee passes the computer chip. Dooley cleans the chip and stuffs the chip into the locket on Jerry Lee’s dog collar. Dooley gets his P.I. license and advertises his services in the paper. The first person to call him is Laura Fields, who wants Dooley to help her find her lost fiance. Little do Dooley and Jerry Lee know that all roads in this investigation will lead back to the heist. Dooley has to deal with the FBI, which is tailing him to see how he was involved with the theft in the first place. He also has to deal with his ex-captain and his former colleagues, who all seem to think he’s crazy. As it turns out, Laura is the mastermind behind the theft, and she hired Dooley so she can get her hands on the chip that Jerry Lee has. Can Dooley and Jerry Lee stop Laura before she can get her hands on the chip?

They can, but no reputable dentist will remove healthy tooth structure to do so. And in order to get what you want, you would have to remove healthy tooth structure. I don’t mean to crush your dreams, but that is the way it is.

The Effects of a enforcing capital punishment

Many people see capital punishment as cruel and inhumane but they lack to see the overall effect capital punishment has. They seem to not see the amazing rate at which homicides and other crimes are rising in their country, states, cities, and even local neighborhoods. With prisons overflowing with criminals, the government has not done anything to speed up the capital punishment process. A faster capital punishment process would save the country millions of dollars which are spent on these criminals. More timely enforcement of the death penalty would help reduce the crime problem by instilling a sense of respect for the law in that sentences are more than words on a page. Capital punishment is a process that is essential in keeping the U.S a safe country and revitalizing the economy.
Enforcing capital punishment at a higher rate would have a profound effect on everyday society. People would feel safer and more comfortable going out if there were less criminals roaming around their local neighborhoods. An estimated 16,692 persons were murdered nationwide in 2005, an increase of 3.4 percent from the 2004 figure(Crime in the U.S. 2005). There would be less of a ghetto community because their would not be as many criminals going straight from prison into the housing projects in the ghetto. With less crime in the ghetto the people of those communities would be able to do more with their lives without the constant thoughts of violence and safety lingering in the back of their heads. The rate of incarceration was 702 inmates per each 100 000 US residents, up from 690 at midyear 2001. This means that one in every 142 people living in the United States was in jail in the middle of last year(Third World Traveler). Crimes involving drugs, homicides, and gangs would slowly decrease as there would be fear of capital punishment for any major crime committed. Nah, We just had a bit of a late Christmas this season and the normal Mickey Mouse affair of the League Cup has been given some prestige. I would hope we can finally say we’ve started our post Christmas streak. We’re in a Wembley final and won five of our last six games.

A fortnight ago I was wishing those Tevez goals were still in United colours, now Citeh must be wishing those Rooney goals were in their colours!

I love the FA Cup and couldn’t have been much more pee’d off going out at the first hurdle to the old enemy over the Pennines. Still, I got extremely drunk that night and I’m pleased to say I’ve got it out of my system!

Gary Neville is a Red, is a Red, is a Red. Gary Neville is a Red, he hates Scousers, and Citeh, and pretty much everyone else not associated with United! ;p

I’m afraid I have to confess, I am among those United fans who would like to see the back of the present owners. I have made reference to poor old Louis Edwards spinning in his grave here and on other footballing forums. We were a highly successful, Mega-Store sustaining club with a packed stadium, high wages and happy investors before the Glazer takeover. Only a few years earlier we were the richest club in the world valued at over ?1bn so the debt was always useless, over presumptuous and never in the interest of the club.

We will draw away, welcome Becks back to OT with applause and send him back to Milan in tears. United to win on aggregate by a couple of goals.
